California State Floral Association (CSFA)


The only organization in California representing the entire floral industry on a state level, supported by growers, wholesalers, retailers, floral designers, florists, floral suppliers and allied industries.

Drawing its membership and board of directors from these segments of the industry, CSFA can directly affect organizational, member, and industry issues from a position of strength and unity when representing its membership at state and local levels.

CSFA-2012-Top-Ten-040CSFA sponsors floral design workshops and special events throughout the year, hosts an annual Legislative Action Day and has two active lobbyists, launched the California Certified Florist program and provides insurance, personal consultations and other benefits for members.

The association also holds a two-day annual conference ("Calif Flora") in mid-October. The conference includes the Top Ten Design Competition (the winner moves up to the national competition sponsored by the Society of American Florists), a floral trade expo, new varieties competition, design and business workshops, design shows, awards and the pinning of the newest California Certified Florists.

 

Every florist, designer and California floral industry participant should belong to CSFA.
