The Los Angeles Flower District is a badge membership program that offers wholesale pricing to its members. Its membership is more than 4,500 individuals, representing approximately 2,000 retail florists, event planners and others.

The Los Angeles Flower District includes the Southern California Flower Market at 755 Wall Street, the Original Los Angeles Flower Market of the American Florists’ Exchange, Ltd., at 754 Wall Street, floral industry wholesalers and vendors with storefronts in the 700 block of Wall Street and a number of smaller markets and vendors between Maple and San Julian streets, from Seventh to Eighth streets in downtown Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Fashion District encompasses a 90-block area of what has traditionally been called the wholesale district. The Flower District is a resident of that area along with the textile, fashion, jewelry and produce wholesale markets.

Every year, more than 250,000 members of the general public visit the Flower District. In addition, some 45,000 or more visits are made by District badge members.

Wednesdays and Fridays, when retail florists and planners stock up for their weekend orders and events.

Street parking and lots are available, and there is usually plenty of parking space in garage parking accessible from entrances on San Julian Street and Maple Street.

Yes, the District welcomes visitors and groups. Please contact the Los Angeles Flower District operations office to make special arrangements (213 627-3696). In addition, both Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge, and Flower Duet in Torrance, host guided walking tours.

Commonly referred to as the Los Angeles Flower Market or LA Flower Mart, the American Florists’ Exchange, Ltd. does business as the Original Los Angeles Flower Market and is located at 754 Wall Street. It is directly across the street from the Southern California Flower Market at 755 Wall Street. Along with the storefront businesses on Wall Street, Seventh to Eighth streets, the two markets share the same hours and holidays.
